Fear Not

That’s why, beloved, I’m calling you. You’re utterly consumed with the three-fold evils? You’ve been weeping incessantly from birth to birth? That’s why I call; come, come, come, O darling of delight, come to My bosom, say the Name. Shuddering at the sight of the stark horrors that daily renew their grisly forms? No, no, don’t be alarmed.

—“Even when the earth is annihilated together with Brahma the Creator, even then My devotees who incarnate themselves in forms calculated to reveal the divine sport, don’t perish.”

(The Saura Puran)

The Name and I are not distinct, you know. To say the Name and to stay with Me amount to the same thing. Say the Name unceasingly, and disease, sorrow, pain and distress will be dancing in your presence, assuming forms of bliss; in the great deluge of bliss the mortal universe will totally dissolve leaving no trace behind: everywhere you’ll see Myself who am all bliss.

Nam-Samkirttan is the smooth, straight, even path. The lustre of My Name goes beyond the Vedas and the Vedanta. They also become adorable to the three worlds who say the Name constantly. Their grace too can rescue numerous sinners and sufferers.

Neglect no more, time flies fast. Say the Name. Practise saying the Name continuously. So long as you can utter a syllable, don’t give up saying the Name. Heedless of whether you are holy or unholy, ignoring whether you have reverence and faith or not, say the Name every moment. It is the Name indeed that will fetch divine love. By silent repetition of the Name you’ll see Me face to face. Say the Name, say the Name, say the Name.

Fear Not

O darling of delight! You’ve no cause for fear. Say the Name without a pause, all pain shall cease. My devotees never can have any cause for fear. They are not afraid of birth, death, decline of age and disease.
Brahmans, Kshatriyas, Vaisyas, Sudras, for that matter other castes as well hallowed by devotion, attain the supreme status. The devotee is the life of My life, the mind of My mind, the treasure of My treasure, dearer to Me than life itself. Say the Name every moment: blest with rare devotion and divine love, you shall be gratified.

—“I’m not half so pleased with study of the Vedas: practice of austerity, performance of yagna and visit to places of pilgrimage as I’m, by the singing of My Name. Singing My Name and exalting My attributes, the devotee comes to be one with, and indistinguishable from, Myself.”

To protect the righteous, to destroy the wicked and to restore dharma, I Myself have come down as the Name. The Name is Myself, Myself am the Name. Between the Name and Myself there is no distinction. Say the Name, only say the Name, then you’ll be in a position to perceive that I alone exist, manifested as your Chosen Deity, un-manifested as the world. If you recollect, sing, hear, write, see or wear the Name, I grant whatever is chosen.

Come, come benighted, fatigued, worn-out wayfarer! Come, Come ailing, sorrowing, singing, repining humanity! Come, come dunce and savant, highest-born and lowest-born! Come, come, young and old, come, youths of both sexes! Come running on to the cool shade of My Name. Doing away with all your pain, I’ll keep you nestled in My bosom. Asleep, awake and in dream, in life and in death, you all will play, full of bliss, in My bosom. Say the Name, say the Name.

Fear Not

Beloved! Come, come, come to Me. Look, it’s not once, but in age after age that I am calling you, Come. I’m calling through the Upanishad, the Ramayana, the Mahabharata and the Puranas, I’m calling as holy men and saints, in birth after birth. I’m calling every moment as your soul’s soul. Come! Come! With your vision cleared of illusion, just look once, and you’ll see that whatever is visible is Myself.

How much you have suffered from disease, sorrow, want and all that! O, sufferer! Come, come. Here am I—here’s My stretched bosom: Keeping you concealed there. I’ll remove all your pain.

Here there’s no scorching heat. Here’s only soothing light flooding all around. It’s echoing always with (non-generated) music of lyre, violin, tabor and flute. Here the sky rains nectar perpetually and a stream of nectar flows on. Everything here is made of bliss: embodied bliss is dancing here all around. Come running, come and see!

How to come? The Name and I are not different, keep the Name on the tongue, in every breath, in mind and in prana as well. Remain immersed in the Name. Then you’ll remain virtually in My bosom and all your pain shall cease.

Art afraid of seeing multifarious forms?
There’s no reason why you should be afraid. I am all you see. O beloved! O dearest! Say the Name, say the Name, say the Name.
